ABOUT THE MAHOMET MUSIC FESTIVAL

For more than 30 years, the Mahomet Music Festival has been a family-friendly celebration of music, community, and tradition, proudly serving the people of Mahomet and surrounding communities. What started as a hometown gathering has grown into one of the regions most anticipated summer events, featuring incredible live performances from some of the finest bands and nationally recognized artists to ever plug in an electric guitar.

 

Conveniently located along Main Street in historic downtown Mahomet, Illinois, comes to life each year on the last Friday & Saturday of August, filling our streets with energy, excitement, and small town charm. 

 

Today, the festival is recognized as a premier community event, welcoming nearly 25,000 attendees over the weekend and drawing visitors from across Illinois as well as neighboring states including Wisconsin, Missouri, and Indiana. In recent years, we've welcomed a growing roster of regional favorites and nationally touring performers, earning recognition among artists and booking teams as a festival worth adding to their tour schedules. We're proud to continue bringing high-quality, well-known talent to Mahomet while staying rooted in the community spirit that built the festival.
